Utah, United States

  • Alta: Is one of the oldest top ski resorts in the United States and boasts 116 trails that stretches over 2,200 acres (891 hectares). What makes this ski resort unique is that snowboarding is prohibited, meaning it’s a skier’s paradise. It is well known for its challenging tree skiing and has a vertical drop of 2,020 feet (616 metres). The infrastructure includes 7 chair lifts with 2 express quads.

Wyoming, United States

British Columbia, Canada

  • Whistler-Blackcomb: Has some of the most versatile terrain inside of North America with over 200 trails of gentle slopes, wide groomed cruisers, and steep alpine bowls. No matter what type of skier or snowboarder you are, you will have plenty to do at Whistler-Blackcomb. It is one of the most well known top ski resorts due to its 8,171 acres (3,307 hectares), its vertical drop of 5278 feet (1,609 meters) and its pedestrian only village.

Alberta, Canada

  • Sunshine: Is the most versatile out of the three ski resorts located in Banff; a quaint mountain village that is extremely friendly for tourists. The Sunshine ski resort has 3,355 acres (1,358 hectares) of slopes for both beginners and extreme skiers. The resort is the only one with the ski-in, ski-out accommodation but there is an interchangeable tri-area lift ticket that you can use for other resorts in the area.

Quebec, Canada

  • Mont-Tremblant: Is located out in the Laurentian mountains which is about 130kms from Montreal. It has 662 acres (268 hectares) of skiing and snowboarding terrain. There are four distinct slopes, 96 different ski trails and combinations, with a vertical drop of 2116 feet (645 meters). There are four mountain faces, which have trails that are good for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
