Fontainebleau Aviation, a Proven Partner for CAA at Opa-locka

Some partnerships are transactional. Others evolve into something more, a shared standard built over time that neither party wants to leave.

Fontainebleau Aviation’s relationship with the Corporate Airport Association (CAA) at Miami-Opa-locka Executive Airport is the latter. Since 2017, it has been built on consistent performance, ongoing investment, and a genuine responsiveness to how CAA members operate. This year’s renewal reflects that foundation, along with a continued commitment to raising the standard further, now supported by the broader capabilities of Skyservice.

Built for the demands of South Florida aviation

Fontainebleau Aviation has operated at OPF for more than a decade, with a facility designed to handle the scale, discretion, and complexity that define South Florida aviation.

When Fontainebleau Aviation was selected as part of one of CAA’s first large, network-based bids in 2017, the operation was already established, with the infrastructure, team, and processes in place to support high volumes and demanding service expectations.

That foundation has enabled the team to absorb growing traffic and increasing complexity without compromising consistency. It’s a standard reflected in the annual AIN FBO Survey, where Fontainebleau Aviation has ranked the #1 FBO in Miami every year from 2018 through 2026.

A partnership built on continuous improvement

Over the past nine years, this partnership has evolved through steady execution and ongoing refinement. Member feedback continues to shape how the operation develops, from staffing and workflows to how service is delivered on the ramp.

At the same time, Fontainebleau Aviation remains focused on identifying new ways to create value for the CAA community. One example is the introduction of a 45-minute fuel service commitment, structured specifically for CAA members. It reflects a broader principle: long-term partnerships are earned through consistent performance and meaningful differentiation.

What the 2026 renewal delivers

This year’s proposal focuses on what matters most to CAA members at OPF, with four core commitments:

45-Minute Fuel Service Guarantee: A fuel truck dispatched and at the aircraft within 45 minutes of a request being logged, or a meaningful discount is automatically applied.

Preferred Fuel Pricing: Exclusive fuel rates that reflect the strength and longevity of a partnership entering its 10th year.

Reduced Special Event Fees: Fee reductions for CAA members during high-traffic periods.

Elevated Hospitality at Peak Moments: Special event periods are treated as curated experiences, not just high-volume operations. Through Sky Route, our elevated experiences platform, the focus is on reducing friction and delivering attentive, intentional service when it matters most.

Local South Florida expertise, backed by Skyservice

Fontainebleau Aviation is deeply rooted in the OPF operating environment. With more than 15 years of experience at the airport, the team understands its rhythms, peak periods, and operator expectations.

Since fall 2023, that local expertise has been strengthened by Skyservice, Fontainebleau Aviation’s parent company and one of North America’s leading aviation platforms.

Skyservice provides an integrated suite of services, including FBO operations, maintenance (MRO), aircraft management, charter, and sales and acquisition services, across a growing North American network. This scale brings operational depth, shared best practices, and consistency during periods of elevated demand.

For CAA members, this means a deeply experienced local team backed by a broader, full-service enterprise. Ongoing investment in people, processes, and infrastructure ensures the operation performs at its best when demand and expectations are high.

The record speaks

Nine years. A proven operating model. A continued focus on consistency, responsiveness, and execution at OPF. The 2026 renewal builds on that track record with enhanced commitments designed to deliver even greater value to CAA members.
