Skyservice™ Earns EASA STC Approval for Gogo Galileo HDX Inflight Connectivity on Challenger 604/605/650 Aircraft

Mississauga, Ontario — June 3, 2026 — Skyservice Business Aviation (“Skyservice”) today announced it has received European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval for the installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX inflight connectivity system on Bombardier Challenger 604, 605, and 650 aircraft.

This approval extends Galileo HDX certification to EASA-regulated markets for the Challenger platform, helping close a key gap in global certification coverage for operators seeking nextgeneration connectivity upgrades. The approval enables Challenger operators across Europe and other EASA-recognized regions to upgrade to Gogo’s next-generation Galileo HDX satellite broadband solution, delivering low-earth orbit connectivity with global coverage and the speeds and reliability that modern flight operations demand. With certification now spanning EASA, FAA, Transport Canada (TCCA), and ANAC, Skyservice is positioned to support Challenger operators with one of the industry’s most comprehensive regulatory pathways for Galileo HDX installations.

“With this EASA STC approval, we are extending Galileo HDX access to Challenger operators across Europe and other key international markets, while delivering truly global certification coverage across major aviation authorities,” said Benjamin Murray, President & CEO, Skyservice Business Aviation. “This milestone ensures operators can adopt nextgeneration LEO connectivity with confidence, regardless of where their aircraft are based or operated.”

Skyservice is now scheduling Galileo HDX installations for Challenger 604, 605, and 650 operators in Europe and EASA-recognized regions. Operators have two flexible paths to upgrade: installations can be completed at Skyservice’s MRO facilities in Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver, or installation kits are available for operators who prefer to complete the work at their own maintenance location. Slots and kits are available now — operators are encouraged to book early given strong demand across the Challenger fleet.
